About Us

Polk-Lepson Research Group specializes in the application of scientific research techniques to topics related to marketing, consumer behavior and public opinion.  The emphasis at Polk-Lepson is on quality research providing practical information at a reasonable cost.
 
The company was founded in 1979 by Dr. Thomas D. Lepson and Dr. David T. Polk.
 
Both quantitative and qualitative research is conducted with end-user consumers as well as businesses.
 
Polk-Lepson also functions as a field service facility assisting clients with various facets of their research projects.

Thomas D. Lepson, PhD

Dr.Lepson's areas of expertise are marketing and marketing research.  He has been actively involved in all phases of these studies including defining objectives, research design, research instrument design and development of strategic marketing plans

In addition to Polk-Lepson, Dr. Lepson teaches marketing, strategic planning and marketing research on a graduate level.

David T. Polk, PhD

Dr. Polk's areas of expertise are research design, research instrument construction, statistical analysis and data analysis
 
He is a senior professor in Behavorial Sciences at York College of Pennsylvania where he teachs courses on research methodology, statistics and demographics.  He is the founder and Director of the Institute of Applied Social Research located at the college.

Dr. Polk also is on the faculty of the American Bankers Association School of Marketing & Management.
